Reckless Abandon is a dynamic group of EQ II players bound together by common purpose, drive and spirit. Our membership is literally a world-wide melting pot that is diverse and unique, yet united in the belief that the RA is a great guild. While we believe that keeping RA a great guild requires its members to demonstrate a certain level of devotion, sacrifice, generosity, selflessness and camaraderie in all aspects of the game, we strive to remember that this is a game, and ultimately, we are all here to have fun.

RA currently defines itself as a casual raiding guild that welcomes both friends and family. This definition means that while we continue to place the same importance on questing, group and solo play for our members as we always have, we also place importance on the need to keep up a strong and operational raid force necessary to complete many of the hallmark, epic weapon and signature quest lines currently in the game. This approach allows RA to provide its members with a wide spectrum of game style options and quest completions that are not available in most guilds.

We range in age from sub-teenagers to sexagenarians and include numerous husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, parent, aunt, uncle, cousin connections. What we share is the desire to reach beyond what we can obtain individually and to come away with a great gaming experience and a few friends in the process.

RA currently has three Guild Leaders chosen from the ranks of the Guild Council. Guild Leaders are those members that have shown the highest level of devotion and trust within the guild and serve as a figurehead for the guild.

Guild Leaders are the Chief Executive Officers of Reckless Abandon. They are responsible to oversee the administration and operations of the guild on a daily basis. Leaders receive direction and guidance from council for decisions affecting the guild operations and structure but Leaders are the final say in any changes to structure, operation or policy. Guild Leaders can be removed or added by majority vote of Guild Council for the betterment of the guild.

Just below Guild Leader is the Guild Council. The Council represents the Senate and Congress of RA rolled into one body. Guild Council members are chosen from the membership by the existing Council and are typically players that have consistently shown the highest levels of leadership, honor and trust within the Guild. All major policies and issues are decided by the Guild Council. The Guild Council dictates the structure of the guild and routinely votes on Guild Leaders and Council members.

RA currently enjoys a raid alliance with the guild Clenched Fist. As an alliance guild, these members have equal right to participate in raids just as if they were RA members.

During raids, loots are distributed by Raid Leader in charge of the specific raid. Fabled and Legendary items will be given out on a /Ran 100 based on class best suited for the loot in question. Loot shall only be rolled on when it is an upgrade to what the character is currently wearing on a daily basis. Need before greed will be practiced during these by all present and assignment of loot will be precise.

Raid Leader has full responsibility in the organization, research, exploration, raid structure, strategies, placement of members, pulling techniques, raid communications and rules of communications, decision on plan of attack, make up of set raid, decision on targets and times, and even decision on who goes stays or added/removed. It is his/her responsibility of the guild's welfare during these times, and strict adherence, listening, and performance to each participant’s best ability is expected. Raid removal may be issued for lack of performing in such instances, with consent of highest leader/council/ or officer.
