    Raid Loot Process

It has come to my attention that some people were unaware of the manner in which we distribute loot. So in a effort to reduce tells during raids and eliminate any further misunderstandings I am going to post the info here. If you have any concerns please do NOT post here this is to be a strictly informational post not a discussion. Please take those concerns up with council or leaders.

Loot Distributer determines what classes can roll on a item and informs people to roll, this is a /ran 100. (This is based on what classes the item will be most useful to. For example plate legs which say any plate tank can equip, but have a +spell crit chance will be limited to paly's and SK's since zerkers/guards do not do much in the way of spell damage)

If you feel your class should be included, but was not, immediately inform the raid leader/distributor their decision will be final, but they may have made a mistake and will reconsider.

Should no one want the item (they have it or better already) The raid leader/loot distributor will decide based on the time constraints and ability to get other toons inzone whether to open the roll for alts outside the raid or transmuting purposes. If transmuted at the end of the raid a /ran (# of people in raid that did not win something) will determine where the transmuted product goes.

If you win a item you are expected to equip it. If the item is found on a broker or not equiped by the next raid you may be banned from further raiding. Appropriate actions will be determined by council/leaders.

Items are limited to 1 per toon per zone unless no one else can use.

Special events. If the raid is prescheduled as a special event the rules for distribution will be posted on the website. For example we used to do some alt gear runs the rules for which were. Alt gear run people are expected to have alts at the zone in prior to the raid bring their main toons to raid. The same usability rules apply but people can roll based on toons outside the zone in and no preference will be given to toons in raid versus toons outside.

Just putting my support as guild leader behind what Llew is posting here. This is the way we have distributed raid loot for a very long time now. I know we have a number of toons that are both new to RA and new to raiding with RA, so if anybody has any questions concerning this system, as Llew mentions, feel free to ask Shamlin, Lydos or myself and we will be happy to go over all the how's and why's of this system.
    Thank you.
